As we anticipated temperatures in the lab have resulted in lower temperatures on our yeast sample RL7-JANUS with an internal temperature of 20.3 Degrees Celsius ;the glassware having an external temperature of 20.5 Degrees Celsius.

RL7-JANUS

Orange coloration resultant of the addition of sulfide containing egg albumen. These are new cells which we will examine tomorrow under the microscope.

Yep that's the incubator.  That reminds me - I need more beer!

Tonight the sample was topped off with 1/4 cup of white sugar prior to being added to the incubator which as of this writing is sitting at 23.9 Degrees Celsius.

Tonight's pre-incubation analysis was:

Brix: 17% -1% from yesterday

Sg:1.069 that's -0.001 from yesterday

PH is consistent at 4.8

The digestion of sugars has slowed down due to temperature variance. More on developments tomorrow.
