Today another important life cycle alteration for RL-6 OSIRIS.

Everything had to be in a state of readiness as you can see from the first photograph 200 ML of liquid agar medium was drained. 1 vitamin tablet was added to give essential nutrients for RNA expression along with 7 drops of the concentrated plant fertilizer.  When the first 3 operations were complete a pinch of sulfur was added to the solution . The aim was to saturate the current strain of yeast with much available nutrients so that the new genetic material added though it would grow alongside our engineered strain would also be inevitably consumed by our dominant strain. New Genetic material would be integrated and thus we would acquire a new base strain.

New Genetic material

Yeast surface prior to infusion

Sample became extremely active after adding new yeast material.

Yeast surface immediately after addition.

Today's analysis prior to infusion:

TEMP

24.1 C

BRIX

21%

SG

1.082

PH

4.8

We're also working on refining sulfur from match heads

Needless to say we've a long way to go
