RL-6-"OSIRIS" LDR results, agar medium exchange, addition of sugar and sulfur and sad news

Tonight was rather busy and concerns of the reemergence of Sol Madonna' s bacterial infection were gravely more concerning. 

OSIRIS 

Doing very well flocculation rate seems to agree with sugar consumption and absorbing mineral and vitamin supplements is visually confirmed.

Above: larger pieces have broken down consistent with sugar levels. 1/4 cup of sugar was added to sample.

Red sulfur was added to promote healthy cellular reproduction along with strong DNA replication.

200 ML of agar medium was removed and 200 ML of clean warm water was substituted.

Some cellular deformities have occurred due to the application of LDR this was anticipated some sacrificial cell death will occur

Fortunately the radiation level  is low enough to activate the radiological response with some damage 

But overall good quality yeast is produced.

As you can tell some mutations in reproduction the parent cell above has accrued some damage to the cell wall

Sol Madonna did not benefit from the microsurgery as we'd hoped initially- the bacterial infection has resurfaced.  We'd postulated she was a gamble as we acquired her material from orange peels that did appear to be harbouring bacteria but we took a chance.

The infection is quite severe and so to avoid contaminating Osiris we must acquire non-contaminated materials.

Tomorrow we will acquire better start up material and begin anew.
