Day 14 RL5/GENNY8

Today's analysis revealed that RL5 sugar levels still on the rise interestingly the Yeast is having a difficult time converting sugar. In the tradition of the Peoples of the Amazon Jungles I added 1 tablespoon of Amylase Enzyme to our sample - otherwise known as spit.

It's unprofessional - it's unsanitary-its it's it's.. ..

It'll be okay

There's some bacteria in our saliva but as long as you don't have a cold or some other bacterial/viral/parasitic infection it'll be fine. Our Saliva contains an enzyme called Amylase that helps break down sugars more complicated cousin carbohydrates. It's been several days and the sample hasn't been decreasing in sugar rather it's been increasing slowly which tells me it's having difficulty assimilating the sugars it needs.  Tomorrow's microscope analysis should paint a more concise picture.

Today's Stats are:

TEMP 25.6 C

BRIX 17%

SG 1.068

PH 4.8

A cluster of RL5 cells most appearing in good health with some exceptions

Above: healthy parent cell

Many small infant cells reproduction seems to be doing well with very few birth defects

The blue highlights are cell RNA

ABOVE: obviously the cells are replicating rapidly one adult above then over top of this cell a younger cell is also replicating

The blue area is the nucleus which you can see splitting in the photograph

Many cells seem to be also pairing up

Many younglings

Experimenting with blue dye and light contrasting technique really paid off

Here's a small video clip of me talking about this journey

Here's the Philosophical start:
