As I promised here is an update of how our yeast strain is doing visually :

Lots of yeast activity here ! You can see to the bottom left a yeast cell is dividing shape of the cell is important the parent cell is circular not elliptic or avoid if it were it would indicate a genetic maldeformity and this would be categorized as a mutation however I will point out that other yeast strains are of this shape and so the opposite might be said for it in terms of elliptical and avoid being the desired shape.
